Worth More Dead   Worth More Dead #10 of Ann Rule's True Crime Files was released December 1. 2005. The book-length title case is about a man named Roland Pitre, an ex-Marine Judo instructor and the many women in his life. Ann covered Pitre's first murder trial more than 25 years ago, but the story had only begun. How he stayed virtually free for a quarter century, continuing to destroy lives, will probably shock you. The four bonus cases in Worth More Dead--with the exception of one (that has been updated)--are also brand new. They include It's Weird to Look At My Own Grave, Old Man's Darling, All For Nothing, and The Desperate Housewife. Ann says this is her own favorite Crime Files book yet. The cases take place in the Northwest and in Colorado.
