| Hi Ann, I just wanted to check in here to tell you I'm thinking of you. I see that you're nearly done moving, you picked a good time not to write since Mercury is Rx again. I am taking all online classes again this semester. It's all I can do to keep up. I'm am so fatigued, and it seems to be getting worse by the day. I don't know what it is. I got a CPAP machine even though the doc said it's not Apnea. It's not helping at all. I hope you are feeling much better and all healed up now. Take care.

| Ann, I think the book cover for ITSOTN is very good. Looking forward to coming to a signing and seeing you again. So glad you are feeling better all the time and I'll fix you something for your sweet tooth when I see you! Keep the faith, my friend.

| I'm not a psychiatrist and I haven't been a practicing pyschologist for nearly as long as Mims, but I do know that in my experience, the most difficult client I've ever had was a mixed personality disorder (borderline/narcissistic). I should write a book. However, I won't since I'm not a writer and besides, it would drive me crazy. Unlike Ann Rule whose books I can't wait to read. Her understanding of human psychology is one of the reasons she is my favorite author.

Darralyn, there can be a few different answers to your question. Sentencing guidelines are a factor. You can google your states sentencing guidelines or if there is a specific case you are wondering about, look up that state. Ann has more awareness of the judicial system than I however the guidelines are one of the things so frustrating to my husband-who has worked in sentencing corrections for waaaaaaaaaaaay too many years.
