Hi Pattie- It was simply a miswritten sentence. It should have read: "...divulged when we first learned of Ann's illness". The only important things really are Ann's recovery and our prayers.

God Speed to you. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Take all the time recommended for a complete recovery.
I read your sight daily but do not often comment.
I have informed my friend in Italy - who is also a huge fan of yours -of your illness. She sends well wishes to you also.

I have tried to keep you all as informed as I can. Please understand that I will only give information that does not breach confidentiality and only information that Ann wishes to be given. If there are times when I say send up more prayers, send more positive energy etc then take it as written. It's up to Ann (when she is able) or Leslie or any family member to say more. You all know she has been very ill and you all must know that w/any serious illness that there are good days, bad days and some days that are sideways. And.....you are all bright enough to read between whatever lines that need to be read through.
Karen, I don't get how there could be "details" before mention of her illness. Seems to me that doesn't quite work. In mentioning "details" then there is mention of illness.
Ann is strong and a fighter and we are all praying for a full recovery.
